Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation through his popular radio programme 'Mann ki Baat'. Sachin Tendulkar and Viswanathan Anand also joined him. Here is all what they said:-

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation through his popular radio programme 'Mann ki Baat'. Sachin Tendulkar and Viswanathan Anand also joined him. Here is all what they said:-

In a first in 'Mann in Baat', cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and chess maestro Viswanathan Anand will join the PM in the 17th edition of the programme.

The PM is expected to share his thoughts on upcoming board exams in his radio address.

Timing

The radio programme will be aired at 11 AM. 

Broadcast

The broadcast shall be originated by All India Radio, Delhi and shall be relayed by all AIR stations, all AIR FM channels (FM Gold and FM Rainbow), local radio stations, Vividh Bharati Stations and five community radio stations, a statement released by Prasar Bharati said.

Regional versions

The regional versions of the 'Mann Ki Baat' will be originated by the capital AIR stations in non-Hindi speaking zones at 8 PM on Sunday only.

The regional versions shall be relayed by all AIR stations including local radio stations in the respective states, the statement added. 

Prime Minister Modi has in the past shared his thoughts on a range of issues including drug addiction, farmers problems, menace of corruption, declining sex ratio, promotion of Khadi and high rate of casualties in road accidents, in the programme.
