New Delhi: Known for speaking his mind and having a firm stance on Hinduism, BJP senior leader Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday said that in India, minorities are committing atrocities against majority.
Swamy, in a series of tweets on Twitter, wrote: “Minorities are committing atrocities against majority. Examples are Hindus in Kashmir and in Kerala's Mallapuram.”
Even today in India, Minorities are committing atrocities against Majority--e.g.,Kashmiri Hindus, and in Mallapuram in Kerala,

He further added that while Parsi and Jews minorities are non-converting religions. Sikhism, Buddhism and Jainism are over lapping and intersecting India-born religions.

Also, drawing fundamental difference between US and India on need for tolerance, Swamy said that US past atrocities were by majority against minorities, but in India it's reverse.

“In US majority has to yield space to minority rights to rectify for the past and in India the reverse is needed,” Swamy tweeted while citing the examples of Ram Temple and Article 370.

Swamy's remarks come a day after US President Barack Obama wound up his three-day visit to India.
In his last address to India, Obama had made a plea to be upheld in a country with a history of strife between Hindus and minorities.
