Yesterday, Farooq Abdullah invited criticism after he said that PoK is in Pakistan and will remain there, while J&K will continue to be part of India.

“PoK will be a part of Pakistan, J&K will be a part of India. It is not something new that I have said,” the National Conference leader said today while defending his remarks.

He further said that the only way to resolve the Kashmir dispute is by talks with Pakistan.

“People-to-people contact is essential. That is how fear is fought,” he said.
