Chandigarh: Dr Subhash Chandra, Chairman, Essel Group and ZEE, talked about 'aspirations' at Chitkara University and Chandigarh Patiala University on Saturday. Over 1500 students attended the two sessions of DSC show.
He made the show interactive by asking students to be interactive.
In the first part he talked about aspirations. “Aspirations are - you should never stop believing. One should continuously evolve,” he said.
“The goals which we want to achieve are said to be our aspirations. We all dream and as a child you may not have much big aspirations but by the time you grow and evolve your mind develops at a higher pace where you dream and have a conflict with mind and heart and in such a way dreams of different kind evolve. We start chasing success in one way or the other, so aspiration keep changing. With conflicts in our mind, the path of success suffers hindrances,” Dr Chandra added.
“Dream of the moon, try out and if nothing else get a star,” was Dr Chandra's mantra for students.
“Skills can be acquired but talent is something we have it or we don’t have it,” he told them, and added, “Aspirations to do something you like doing is the biggest aim you can aspire.”
Dr Madhu Chitkara of Chitkara University said that one should explore his/her potential. “And along with the academic potential our organisation tries to identify other potentials and develops them,” she added.
