Confident of India-Thailand expanding cooperation: Prez

Extending greetings to the King of Thailand on the eve of country's National Day, President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday said he is confident that the two nations will further expand cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.

New Delhi: Extending greetings to the King of Thailand on the eve of country's National Day, President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday said he is confident that the two nations will further expand cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.

"India and Thailand have deep rooted ties spread over centuries that have blossomed into a robust and contemporary relationship. I am confident that both our countries will further strengthen and expand our cooperation in a wide range of areas for mutual benefit," Mukherjee said in his message to Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The President conveyed best wishes for the King's good health, happiness and success as well as for the well being and prosperity of the "friendly people of Thailand".
