New Delhi: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh Sunday assured the chief ministers of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh of full assistance from the central government to face any situation arising from cyclonic storm `Hudhud`.
"Had telephonic conversations with the CMs (chief ministers) of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh this (Sunday) morning. They briefed me about the situation on the ground," Singh said in a tweet.
"I assured both the CMs of full cooperation from the centre (central government) and all possible assistance to face any emergent situation post Hudhud`s landfall," he said in another tweet.
`Hudhud` Sunday noon hit Andhra coast at Pudimadaka village near Visakhapatnam.
