New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan chaired an all-party meeting on Monday to ensure smooth running of the Budget Session of Parliament.
The meeting comes on a day when when the government has agreed to debate issues like the unrest in JNU in the Parliament.
Ahead of the all-party meeting, the Congress Working Committee had met to discuss party's strategy in the Parliament.
Parliamentary Affair Minister Venkaiah Naidu had earlier stressed that the government was ready to accommodate the views of the opposition parties.
The Budget Session will begin on February 23. While the first session will continue till March 16, the second session will take place from April 25 to May 13.
President Pranab Mukherjee will address the joint session of Parliament on February 23. The Railway Budget will be presented on February 25 while the Union Budget will be presented on February 29.
