Mumbai: In a major development in the murder case of Sheena Bora, daughter of former media honcho Peter Mukerjea's wife Indrani, the DNA report of the skelatal remains found in Raigad forest has confirmed that it is the body of the victim, according to news reports on Monday.

The much-awaited report comes after claims that Sheena Bora was allegedly murdered by her mother Indrani Mukerjea and later dumped in the forest in Raigad.

Apart from Indrani, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai are other accused in the case.

The DNA samples recovered from Raigad were earlier sent to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and the report was awaited.
