Delhi: Expressing happiness over results of Bengaluru civic bodies' polls, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that Congress should learn from it and that mindless negativity was counterproductive.
"Mindless negativity is counterproductive. This is the electorate’s message to Congress after MP, Rajasthan and Bengaluru civic elections," the BJP leader tweeted.
In another post he wrote: "MP, Rajasthan and now Bengaluru - a series of victories by the BJP. Will the Congress introspect, why?" and added "Congratulations to the Karnataka BJP on a spectacular victory in the Municipal elections of Bengaluru."

The comments by the senior BJP leader came as the party today appeared to retain control of the IT city's civic body.
The election to 198 wards of BBMP was held after a prolonged court battle, as Siddaramaiah-led government sought to defer it on grounds of trifurcating the civic body.
