Rampur: Senior Samajwadi Party leader and UP Cabinet Minister Azam Khan has stoked a fresh controversy on Saturday.

The UP Cabinet Minister has said that Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House and Taj Mahal should be demolished as these are the symbols of  'slavery'.

The controversial comments by Azam Khan came during his address at a seminar in Raza Degree College, a report in The Pioneer said.

Azam Khan also said that he can't stand the sight of Taj Mahal. "Such big monument was a criminal waste of public money,” Aza said in Rampur on Saturday.

"If the symbol of slavery are to be identified then the first  monument will be Taj Mahal followed by the Rashtrapati Bhawan and Parliament house constructed by the British India government."

This is not the first time when Azam Khan has stirred controversy by his remarks.
