Flash floods caused a cloudburst at Bhareinallah in Ani area of Kullu district, 150 km from here early this morning.

A large number of illegal structures raised by people along the nallah were swept away by gushing waters which also washed away a cow shed, three heads of cattle and bridge, officials said.

The National Highway 21 was blocked for about two hours due to massive landslide at Gamraula near Bilaspur.
Rain-triggered landslides also blocked scores of roads in the interiors.

The sky remained heavily overcast in mid hills including state capital Shimla, hampering vehicular traffic while an accident between a truck and a bus near Victory tunnel caused traffic snarls.
Arki in Solan district received 145 mm rains while Hamirpur, Kotkhai and Sundernagar had 71 mm, 60 mm and 52 mm rains followed by Dharampur 48 mm, Bhoranj 46 mm, Rajgarh 41 mm, Kasauli 40 mm, Renuka 38 mm, Kangra and Gohar 35 mm, Bijahi and Dharamshala 34 mm, Nurpur 32 mm, Dehra Gopipur and Palampur 31 mm, Khadrala 27 mm, Shimla and Chamba 24 mm, Bhuntar 22 mm and Udaipur and Pandoh 21 mm.

The minimum temperature dropped to 12 degrees at Una in Shivalik foothills while Kalpa recorded a low of 14. 4 degrees, followed by Dharamsala and Manali 15 degrees, Keylong 17 degrees, Shimla 17.5 degrees, Palampur 20 degrees, Bhuntar 20.2 degrees, Nahan 21.5 degrees and Sundernagar 22.1 degrees Celsius.

However, the maximum day temperature rose to 34 degrees at Una.

The local Met department has warned of heavy rains in mid hills tomorrow and rains and thunders showers at many places in low, mid and high hills over the next six days.

Meanwhile, an earthquake of mild intensity rocked several parts of the state around 3:45 PM.
However, no loss of life and property has been reported from any part of the state.
