The Chief Minister on the first day of his three-day visit dedicated development projects that included two crucial bridges on the National Highway No.5 (NH-5) at Kharogla rivulet on the Karcham-Sangla-Chitkul road.

The bridges would be constructed at a cost of Rs 6.13 crore, an official statement said.

Singh also inaugurated the building of a government school at Urni, a bus stand at Sangla and a primary health centre building at Nigulsari.

He laid a foundation stone for upgrading water supply scheme for Tapri town that will benefit about 1,400 people of the area.

The Chief Minister performed a religious ceremony for upgradation of a link road from the national highway to Nichar via Panvi at Wangtoo.
