Today's kids could experience time travel, invisibility cloaks during lifetimes

A new study has predicted that some of the amazing phenomenons like time travel, invisibility cloaks and teleportation could be part of everyday life of today's kids by 2025.

London: A new study has predicted that some of the amazing phenomenons like time travel, invisibility cloaks and teleportation could be part of everyday life of today's kids by 2025.

Experts have mentioned that invisibility cloaks, as made famous in the 'Harry Potter' franchise, might be the first to arrive in as little as 10 years, the Daily Star reported.

Professor Chris Phillips, Professor of Experimental Solid State Physics at Imperial College London said that making these phenomenons a reality in the future would not be very much hard as the rudimentary technology versions of this have already been created.

Teleportation might take a little more time but experts are confident that it would arrive by 2080, which would help people beam from place to place, saving millions from their grueling morning commutes.

Dr. Mary Jacquiline Romero, from the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Glasgow, said that there's no fundamental law to define that teleportation cannot be done.

Colin Stuart, Science Communicator said that researchers have already achieved the time travel process with the record of 0.02 seconds set by cosmonaut Sergei Krikalev, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Youngsters may have the privilege to travel through time and space and by 2100, he further added.

Paul Jackson, CEO of Engineering UK, said that it was "crucially important" to spark the interest of what-could-be now in the younger generation because ultimately they would be the one who make these Sci-Fi dreams a reality.
