Two more persons succumbed to swine flu in Rajasthan, taking the toll due to the dreaded H1N1 virus to 413 since January this year.

Jaipur: Two more persons succumbed to swine flu in Rajasthan, taking the toll due to the dreaded H1N1 virus to 413 since January this year.

The deaths occurred yesterday, an official of the state Medical and Health Department said.

Of the 6,532 people found positive for the virus in the state, 413 people have died so far since January this year, he said.

Except Dholpur and Sirohi districts, the swine flu deaths occurred in remaining 31 districts of the state, the official said.

Jaipur recorded the maximum deaths of 83 followed by Ajmer 43, Jodhpur 33, Nagaur 30, Barmer 23, Kota 20, Udaipur 15, Chittorgarh 14, Sikar, Bhilwara, Tonk and Pali 12 each, Jhunjhunu, Churu 9 each, Bikaner 8, Bharatpur, Dausa, Rajsamand and Banswara 6 each and Alwar 5 and one to four at other places in the state.
