AIIMS to submit report to Health Minister on Arian, suffering from Hunter Syndrome

New Delhi: In a new developement in the case of Arian Chowdhury, who suffers from Hunter Syndrome, the special panel of experts of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences will most likely submit the report to the Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan Singh today.

Arian is fighting a rare genetic disorder called hunters syndrome.The disease has no cure and affects one person in 150,000 worldwide. Arian was 5 years old he was first diagnosed with the disease.

Arian's parents had approached Dr Harsh Vardhan for medical support and were assured that all possible help will be extended to them. After having a word with the AIIMS director MC Mishra, the Health Minister asked him to form a panel to study the case of Arian. The panel consists of pediatricians and other experts.
