300 youths to sign for organ donation in Ghaziabad

Taking organ donation to new heights, around three hundred people have decided to donate their organs posthumously by taking an oath on Sunday at the Mewar Institute here.

Ghaziabad: Taking organ donation to new heights, around three hundred people have decided to donate their organs posthumously by taking an oath on Sunday at the Mewar Institute here.

The three hundred youths will sign their 'will' to donate their body organs after death in an event event organsied by 'Dadhichee Deh Daan Sanghatan'.

"Donation of body organs can save many lives and particularly donation of eyes can help the blinds to see the world anew," MCI member Vinay Aggarwal said at a press conference organsied by the sangathan here.

"Signing their will can also help the increasing requirement of human corpse for research purposes," he said.

Organ donation has always remained a taboo in our society but the recent surge of people towards this cause has given it a stature in the society that encourages people to participate in more numbers and give meaning to their as well as others' lives!
