Faridabad: A youth was allegedly killed by a father-son duo over a property dispute, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the victim's brother Pratap Singh, they had strained relations with their neighbour Narmohan Badhana due to a property dispute, for which a case is pending in Chandigarh High Court.
"The victim identified as Ratan Singh, was having drinks at a local wine shop yesterday and the accused was present there along with his son. Later, the victim's brother brought him home in an inebriated state," police said quoting the complaint.
Ratan Singh told his mother that the father-son duo offered him drinks and made him sign on few documents. Later, his condition deteriorated, police said adding, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The duo have been booked for murder and police is further investigating the issue, they said.
