Chandigarh: Days after the Ballabgarh incident, the death of another Dalit boy has led to a furore in Haryana on Friday.

A 15-yr old boy found dead in Gohana. His family family alleges he was accused of pigeon theft and was taken into custody by the police.

Later his dead body was found. The family claims he was tortured to death, however, the police said that they had let him and has no role in his death.

The situation turned tense in the area after the family of deceased placed his body on road to mark protest, demanding action against the culprits.

“We have sent the body for post-mortem, inquiry is going on, whoever is found guilty will be punished,” Vinod Kumar, DSP, Gohana said.

Congress leader PL Punia said, “If 'Rakshak' police itself will become 'Bhakshak' where will people go? Seems rule of law has ended in Haryana.”
