Chandigarh: A 90-year old woman who is a former army doctor was hit by the car of a Haryana cadre IAS officer here, her family members alleged on Tuesday.
The incident took place on September 25 when the woman identified as Capt Paramjit Kaur Dhanoa (Retd) was entering the Tagore theatre here to watch a play along with her other family members.
She was hit by a car in which IAS officer Anil Kumar was present, at the main gate of the theatre, her family members alleged.
As a result, the woman received injuries on her face and her head and also suffered broken rib, Captain I P Dhanoa, son of woman said here.
He said the family was upset with as Anil Kumar for showing lack of apathy and also for not providing any medical assistance to the family.
He did not show any remorse and has not apologised for causing injuries till date, Dhanoa alleged.
The woman was admitted to Command Hospital Chandimandir and her condition was now stable, her family claimed.
IAS officer who is a former Home Secretary in UT Chandigarh was not available for his comments.
