New Delhi: BJP`s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Wednesday urged the voters to vote in record numbers as balloting for 64 Lok Sabha seats in seven seats began this morning amod unprecedented security arrangements.
The BJP leader tweeted, “Polling for 64 seats across 7 states is underway. I hope people will vote in large numbers & youngsters will show the way in doing so.”

The Gujarat Chief Minister`s second tweet said, “I also call upon those voting in Assembly polls in AP & those voting in Assembly by-polls in Bihar, HP, UP & WB to vote in record numbers.”

Modi also came down heavily on Congress by saying that none of its leaders have talked about development even as the ongoing elections have entered in its final stage.
“Campaign for 2014 Elections is reaching its final stages but no Congress leader has talked about development issues. Very sad,” Modi tweeted.

Modi is due to address two public meetings in Varanasi on Thursday. He will also participate in Ganga Arti.
The Gujarat Chief Minister has been making similar appeals to voters ever since the commencement of the General Elections.
Amid accusations and counter-accusations, Narendra Modi`s election campaign so far has grabbed headlines due to his scathing attack on the Gandhi family and the ruling Congress party.
At a speech yesterday in UP`s Domariyaganj, Modi gave a befitting reply tom Congres chief Sonia Gandhi`s daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra`s charge that he stooped very low with his "neech rajniti” or low-level politics.
"I cannot deny I was born into a `neechi jaati` (backward caste) but is that a crime?" asked Modi.
