New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh on Friday congratulated the party workers and the nation calling the 2014 Lok Sabha polls as a landslide victory for BJP-led NDA.
Addressing party workers here, Singh said, “ I congratulate the BJP workers and every voter of India for making Narendra Modi-led BJP win in the Lok Sabha polls.”
“Never before in the history of the country has Congress been defeated by such a margin,” he added.
Advising the sea of saffron leaders, who gathered at the BJP headquarters in the national capital, Singh said, “Don`t use any provoking or derogatory words while celebrating the victory.”
Huge celebrations are going on since early morning today throughout the country soon after elections results trends were showing that BJP has got a clear mandate in 2014 Lok Sabha polls and Narendra Modi is all set to become the next prime minister of India.
