New Delhi: The emphatic win of Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2014 General Elections has led the world leaders to chant `NaMo NaMo`. Various world eladers including US President Barack Obama congratulated Modi and invited him to visit the country. It may be recalled that the Gujarat Chief Minister has been denied a visa to visit the US since 2005.
Ending a decade long US boycott of Narendra Modi, President Barack Obama congratulated him on BJP`s "success in India`s historic election" and invited him to visit Washington "to further strengthen our bilateral relationship".
"The president called prime ministerial candidate and Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi today to congratulate him on the Bharatiya Janata Party`s success in India`s historic election," said a White House readout of the call.
British prime minister David Cameron tweeted to congratulate Narendra Modi on his victory on Friday.
"Congratulations @narendramodi on victory in India`s elections. Keen to work together to get the most from UK-India relationship," tweeted Cameron.
Canada Prime Minister Stephen Harper also congratulated Modi saying that his government is looking forward to the new Indian government.

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif telephoned Modi and congratulated him on his resounding victory in the elections.
Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa congratulated Modi on achieving a great victory. He expressed hope that India and Sri Lanka will work closely and further strengthen their strong ties.
The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, also called Modi to congratulate him on his victory in the General Election.
Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot expressed the hope that Australia and India will work closely to further strengthen the bilateral relationship during Modi`s stewardship of the Indian Government.
Abbot tweeted:

Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina and opposition BNP chief Khaleda Zia have congratulated Modi.
