New Delhi: Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi on Monday night once again raised her voice in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party`s (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi asking the people of Gandhi`s bastion Amethi to choose a `karma yogi` this time.

Bedi posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter - “If we can give 60 years to one family...then we can give 60 months to a karma yogi..”

“Amethi struggling for bare basics of human existence--toilets and drinking water! A constituency of ruling family of decades!” she added.

Praising Modi`s Amethi rally today, Bedi tweeted, “NaMo in Amethi. A speech of a lifetime.Challenged decadence!-/Finally someone with capability is determined to pull India out of stagnation!”

Addressing a massive gathering at Gauriganj town in Amethi Lok Sabha constituency, Modi today sought votes for BJP candidate Smriti Irani, saying the time has come to throw out dynastic politics and espouse the cause of development.

BJP has pitted Smriti Irani against Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi in Amethi parliamentary constituency.

Amethi is scheduled to go on polls on May 7 in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections.

Earlier, Bedi had praised Modi`s capability as a prudent leader saying, “For me it`s India First! Stable, Well Governed, Administered, Accountable and Inclusive. As an independent voter, my vote is for NaMo.”
