Cabinet meet tomorrow to recommend dissolution of 15th Lok Sabha

In the run-up to new government formation, the Union Cabinet will meet tomorrow and recommend to President Pranab Mukherjee for dissolution of the 15th Lok Sabha.

New Delhi: In the run-up to new government formation, the Union Cabinet will meet tomorrow and recommend to President Pranab Mukherjee for dissolution of the 15th Lok Sabha.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will chair his last cabinet meeting where a resolution is expected to be moved by Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, who is also Leader of the Lok Sabha, for dissolution of the 15th Lok Sabha, official sources said today.
After the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath will call on the President recommending dissolution of the House.
"The Parliamentary Affairs Minister sought time from the President and he has been given time at 1:15 PM tomorrow," Press Secretary to the President Venu Rajamony said.
