New Delhi: Following the tone set by JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, the Delhi government has decided to start a new advertisement campaign with 'azadi' as the catchword to publicise the work done by it in the national capital

'Azadi' hogged the popular discourse recently amidst the JNU row which saw a sedition case being registered against Kanhaiya.

A Delhi government official said hoardings and posters have been installed in different parts of the city and similar advertisements will be placed in newspapers and aired on radio.

Delhi Water Minister Kapil Mishra today tweeted the contents of a few posters, which read, "Have given azadi from inflation" and "Azadi from wrong bills".

Earlier this month, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had tweeted, "Hum kya mangtey-Azadi. L-G ke hastakshep se azadi."
