Exhibition 'Mexico Is' in Rajiv Chowk Metro station

The exhibition titled 'Mexico Is' is a collection of 30 images, which seeks to visually summarise the Latin American country's culture.

New Delhi: Panoramic images of iconic Mexican locations will adorn the oval-shaped viewers' gallery of Rajiv Chowk Metro station for the next ten days in order to attract tourists to that country.

Mexico's Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu inaugurated the photographic exhibition titled 'Mexico Is', a collection of 30 images, which seeks to visually summarise the Latin American country's culture while also providing glimpses of striking Mayan architecture, among others.

Accompanied by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation chief Mangu Singh, Massieu took a ride on the Metro from Udyog Bhavan to Rajiv Chowk station on the Yellow Line.

"Rajiv Chowk Metro station has become a hub for showcasing international flavour to its commuters. In the past, Swedish and French embassies have also put up exhibitions for commuters' delight at the same venue," Singh said.
