Delhi govt to move court against police commissioner

New Delhi: The Delhi government will move court, seeking action against Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi for allegedly violating rules in buying a flat.

The move is set to deepen the enmity between the Delhi government and Delhi Police.

"The decision came after Delhi government`s Vigilance Department established that Bassi had indeed done wrong," said a government official.

"The department will seek to register a police complaint against Bassi for illegally acquiring a flat in Lucky Home Cooperative Society of Rohini illegally," he said.
