New Delhi: The `mystery man` who had visited four Congress MLAs in the wee hours of Thursday, claiming to be the party high command`s messenger, appeared on Zee Media on Friday and identified himself as Baljit Singh Malik, a resident of Sonepat.
Talking exclusively to Zee Media, Malik said he was against Congress supporting AAP and said the move was against the interest of country and could have `dire consequences` in the future.
Malik had paid a visit to four MLAs of the Congress party and had tried to dissuade them from favouring the formation of Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi.
The footage of him appearing in a Toyota Fortuner at the residence of Chaudhary Mateen Ahmed (MLA Seelampur), Asif Mohammad Khan(MLA Okhla), Prahlad Singh Sahni (MLA Chandni Chowk), Devender Yadav (MLA Badli) in the wee hours of Thursday had been playing on news channels all day yesterday.
But the MLAs in question claimed to have no knowledge of who the `mystery man` was. Some said he had identified himself as a well-wisher of the Congress party, while others said that he had claimed to be a messenger from the party high command.
