Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government will be launching an anti-corruption helpline on April 05 for people to lodge complaints if they are harassed for bribes.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government will be launching an anti-corruption helpline on April 05 for people to lodge complaints if they are harassed for bribes.

According to ANI, the Delhi government has announced that '1031' number will be operational from Sunday onwards and the officials will begin taking speedy action on complaints received against any corrupt officer.

Before Delhi elections, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had assured to root out corruption from the city. The entire election campaign was based around this crusade.

The party had also claimed that during its short stint in Delhi Assembly in 2014, it had managed to curb down corruption in the city.
