New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday alleged that those involved in anti-national sloganeering at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) aren't being arrested because BJP wants to form government with PDP in Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Kejriwal said, “According to media reports, those involved in anti-national sloganeering aren't being arrested because BJP wants to form government with PDP in J&K.”

“And if those people (who raised anti-national slogans) are arrested, Mehbooba Mufti ji might get upset,” he added.

Further hitting out at the Narendra Modi-led government Kejriwal said, “If they are doing this kind of politics and are really not arresting people because of this reason, then it is wrong.”

According to media reports, it is being said that the people who raised anti-India slogans at the Jawaharlal Nehru University on 9 February were Kashmiris.

Yet, the Delhi Police has not even been looking for them, because arresting Kashmiri students in Delhi may finish any remaining chance of saving the PDP-BJP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.
