Seven Maoists have surrendered in insurgency hit Sukma district of Chhattisharh.

Raipur: Seven Maoists have surrendered in insurgency hit Sukma district of Chhattisharh.

Four of them were carrying cash rewards on their heads.

Police said that the ultras surrendered themselves yesterday claiming that they are disappointed with the Maoist ideology and were frustrated with the kind of life they were leading.

"The surrendered Maoists will be rehabilitated as per the policy of state government and necessary assistance will be provided to them," police said.
