Patna: In a relief to Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, the Patna High Court on Wednesday lifted the restraint on taking any policy decisions - imposed two days ago - but said their implementation would have to wait till he proves his majority.

"Manjhi`s government can take policy decisions but all such decisions would be implemented after his government proves its majority on the floor of the state assembly," said a government lawyer.

According to him, any policy decision taken by Manjhi`s government would be implemented after Feb 21.

Manjhi, who was expelled from his Janata Dal-United (JD-U) after refusing to step down from his post, has been asked to prove his majority in the assembly.
