Patna: Opposition BJP on Monday took potshots at the Nitish Kumar government's annual report card, stating that with no major achievements to show the declaration was first postponed under the "excuse" of train mishap and then put it out "silently" on the next day.

"Due to no major achievements to show, first the grand secular alliance government postponed release of the report card under excuse of Indore-Patna Express tragedy and then silently made it public today to befool people," senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi said in a statement here.

The government did not find it important to answer the questions related to masses which were raised by the Opposition, he said.

"The report card should have said about action taken against half-a-dozen Legislators of ruling coalition whose misdeeds shamed the state across the country," Modi said.

"The government which claims about rule of law should explain why the game of 'jail-bail' and fixing opponents is continuing?" he asked.

The state government which claims to pursue policy of zero tolerance against corruption should tell how many corrupt persons have been prosecuted under the Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009 and their property seized, the Leader of Opposition in state Legislative Council said.

He also sought to know about the fate of agriculture roadmap and why the special agriculture cabinet formed during the NDA regime by combining 18 departments dissolved.

"By labelling the banks loan scheme with new name of 'students credit card', hasn't the government tried to befool the youths?" he said.

Likewise, it's well known that students would not benefit from free WiFi facilities in colleges and universities till they have laptop with them, he said.
