Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday took the oath of office in the presence of who's who in attendance at a mega ceremony held at the sprawling Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
However, the most amusing bit doing the rounds is regarding the stark gap in educational qualification between the chief minister and his deputy, although a person’s academic merit can't be a lone measurer of his or her talent.

Nitish Kumar, who took the oath of office as chief minister on Friday, is an engineer by profession. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bihar College of Engineering, Patna, now known as NIT. He half-heartedly worked in a job for sometime and later moved into politics.
In contrast, Bihar's new deputy chief minister 26-year-old Tejashwi Yadav, who also took oath of office on Friday, is only a 9th pass and his climb to fame other than he being the son of Yadav chieftain Lalu Prasad, has been his unsuccessful foray into cricket. He spent four seasons with the Delhi Daredevils without playing a single game. His anointment as Dy CM comes in line with the expectations of his father and veteran politician.
