Patna: Refraining from divulging the stand it would take during the February 20 confidence motion in the Bihar Assembly, BJP leader Nand Kishore Yadav on Tuesday said party MLAs would meet on Wednesday to decide on their strategy.

"The BJP has made its stand clear, we have meeting of MLAs on February 18 in which, we are going to decide on the strategy for February 20. We have kept all our options open, we will disclose our strategy on the floor of the house on February 20," Yadav told a news agency.

When asked about the possibility of President's rule in Bihar, he added, "There is no question of President's rule, we have never demanded President's rule, and there is no need for it."

Bihar is facing a political crisis after Manjhi refused to resign after being asked to do so by his party, the JD(U). Irked by this, the party expelled Manjhi and elected Nitish Kumar as the legislature party leader.

Now, both factions of the JD-U are hoping to prove their majority during the February 20 confidence vote.
