New Delhi: Apple is holding a procduct launch event on Tuesday, and it is expected to unveil a new iPhone in honour of its 10th anniversary.

The keenly anticipated media event will be the first in the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple's new "spaceship" campus in Silicon Valley, evoking the memory of the company's late co-founder and iconic pitchman.

Jobs introduced the first iPhone on January 9, 2007 and set the stage for mobile computing -- and an entire industry revolving around it. The first devices became an instant hit as they went on sale on June 29 of that year.

Here are 10 expected features of Apple iPhone 8, iPhone X

1. According to a developer named Steve Troughton Smith, the iPhone 8 will feature 2GB, while the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X will both feature 3GB.

2. In terms of camera technology iPhone X will feature a 12MP rear-facing camera with support for 4K video at 60 FPS and 1080p video at 240 FPS

3. One of the iPhone models may be charged wirelessly.

4. iPhone 8 might house Face ID – akin to Touch ID.  

5. A handful of images also showed the upcoming iPhone 8 with rear-placed Touch ID placed directly below the Apple logo.

6. iPhone 8 may host Animoji – touted as animated emojis. These would be more like personal emojis.

7. A new diagram of iPhone 8 suggests that Apple may move the fingerprint reader to the back of the phone.

8. Apple`s next generation iPhone 8 is rumoured to sport a bold new design and would feature an OLED display full of holes.

9. Apple bring "True Color iPad Pro" screen technology to its smartphones for the first time that uses advanced four-channel ambient light sensors.

10. Apple`s upcoming iPhone 8 may not include next generation gigabit support and the company will stick to 4G LTE technology.
