New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday spoke about the reports which claimed that senior Congress leader and former Union minister Kamal Nath is all set to switch loyalty to the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Dismissing the reports that the Chhindwara MP from Madhya Pradesh could soon join the BJP, Chouhan said he has neither spoken with or met Kamal Nath regarding this.
“The BJP already has one kamal (lotus), the party does not need Kamal Nath,” inkhabar quoted Chouhan as clearing.
The MP CM added that the rumour could be the brainchild of those against Nath in his own party.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Kamal Nath, who is into his ninth term in Lok Sabha, has dismissed the report.
