Faizabad Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh. This constituency came into existence in 1962. 

Faizabad registered 59.68 percent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 0.78 percent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1820057 while the total voter turnout is 1086250. While in 2014, the constituency registered 58.90 percent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1736928 while the total voter's turnout was 1023070.

Anand Sen of Samajwadi Party, Nirmal Khatri of Indian National Congress, Lallu Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party and Mahesh Tiwari of Shivsena are a few prominent candidates contesting for general elections 2019 from Faizabad Lok Sabha Constituency of Uttar Pradesh.

The election here was conducted on May 6, 2019, as per the Phase V schedule announced by the Election Commission. The results would be declared on May 23.

Lallu Singh of BJP is the sitting Member of Parliament from this constituency. Singh had won the seat defeating Samajwadi Party candidate Mitrasen Yadav with a margin of 2,82,775 votes.
