Barabanki Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 80 Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh state. 

Barabanki registered 63.55 percent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 1.48 percent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1816103 while the total voter turnout is 1154206. While in 2014, the constituency registered 62.07 percent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1720682 while the total voter's turnout was 1067973.

Upendra Singh Rawat of Bharatiya Janata Party, Tanuj Punia of Indian National Congress and Ram Sagar Rawat of Samajwadi Party are a few prominent candidates contesting for general elections 2019 from Barabanki Lok Sabha Constituency of Uttar Pradesh.

The election here was conducted on May 6, 2019, as per the Phase V schedule announced by the Election Commission. The results would be declared on May 23.

Priyanka Singh Rawat of BJP is the sitting Member of Parliament from this constituency. In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Rawat received 4,54,214 votes and defeated Panna Lal Punia of Congress by 2,42,336 votes. Punia had earlier won from the seat in 2014 Lok Sabha election.
