Jammu: Night curfew has been imposed due to rising COVID-19 cases. The district administration has imposed a curfew under section 144 CRPC from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM in the territorial jurisdiction of the district from today.

Centre to SC in Affidavit: Not asking Central government employees to work from home as normalisation is returning after a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of vehicles used by the Central government is a minuscule fraction of the total vehicles in Delhi, stopping them from plying would not make much impact towards improving the air quality of Delhi.
Punjab Govt to SC in Affidavit: Will give Rs 100/quintal of paddy stubble to farmers for not burning it. Police and Fire Tenders will be deployed to douse farm fires.
Haryana Govt to SC in Affidavit: Industries except those running on PNG/CNG/Cleaner fuel have been ordered to be closed till November 30. Two Thermal Power Plant units in Panipat (total capacity of 450 MW) will be closed down till November 30.

Punjab: The Kartarpur Sahib Corridor will be reopened today (November 17). The Corridor which provides rare visa-free travel from India to Pakistan and vice versa for pilgrims to pray at Holy Gurudwara Darbar Sahib was closed since March last year in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi informed that the state cabinet will be part of the "Jatha", which will visit the historic shrine in Pakistan on November 18.
My cabinet will pay obeisance at Sri Kartarpur Sahib as first delegation on Nov 18 after reopening of #KartarpurCorridor ahead of Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. Also, thanks to the PM @narendramodi ji & HM @AmitShah ji for fulfilling demand of 'Nanak Naam Leva Sangat'.
