Thiruvananthapuram: In yet another incident of possible political violence in the state, a 58-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker died in Trivandrum on Saturday. He was allegedly attacked by CPM workers on February 02.

The 58-yr-old was allegedly attacked by CPM workers on at a temple festival near Kadakkal.

Kannur district is considered Kerala's most volatile due to the violent rivalry between the CPI-M and the BJP/RSS.

At least four BJP workers were brutally murdered in the Assembly constituency of Pinarayi Vijayan after he took over as Chief Minister in May last year.
