Bithur Ganga Mahotsav to be held after 7 years

The five-day Bithur Ganga Mahotsav is slated to be held from December 20-24, and participating in the festival this year is popular singer Anuradha Paudwal.

The singer will enthral the audience with bhajans on December 21 at the Ganga Mahotsav.

This festival is being organised after a gap of seven years, and the theme this year is revolt of 1857 and culture around Ganga.

Artists from different parts will perform at the cultural events during the five-day festival.

Other highlights of the festival will be dance dramas, handicraft, agricultural fair, vintage car rally and fruit fest.

While a Qawwali programme is slated to be organised on December 22, a programme of film songs will be held on December 23. On the final day, there will be a harmony between Sivamani and Bikram Ghosh.
