Khunti: The security forces seized huge quantity of explosives in Khunti and Lohardaga district on Saturday, police said.
A joint team of District Armed Police and the CRPF launched a massive search operation in the Gitilata jungle in Khunti district and stumbled upon explosives and other related equipments kept hidden in a bunker, which was demolished, the Superintendent of Police Ashwini Kumar Sinha said.

The seized explosives include IEB (can bomb) 53 pieces, one number container bomb of 10 kg, explosive powder 50 kg, 15 kg explosives in liquid form, Karthik said.
