Vaishno Devi pilgrim from Goa dies of cardiac arrest

Devalatakar was rushed to a dispensary at Himkoti, where the doctors declared him "brought dead". 

Jammu: A pilgrim, who was on his way to the cave shrine of Vaishno Devi in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, died of a cardiac arrest on Friday the police said.

Ajit Gundu Devalatakar (44), a resident of Panaji in Goa, collapsed near the Thanda nallah in the Trikuta hills, en route to the cave shrine. He was being accompanied by his friends, said a police officer.

Devalatakar was rushed to a dispensary at Himkoti, where the doctors declared him "brought dead".
