Srinagar: Just days after the Pampore terror attack in which three soldiers had lost their lives, suspected terrorists on Wednesday hurled a grenade at a police vehicle in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. 

The attack took place in Shalteng area of Parimpora today. However, there was no report of any casualty. 

The security forces launched a search operation in the area after the attack.

The attack on the police party at Parimpore today comes five days after terrorists attacked an Army convoy at Pampore in Pulwama district of Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. Two soldiers were also injured in the attack that took place at the place crowded with civilians at Kadlabal in Pampore town.

Three soldiers were killed while two others were left injured in the Pampore attack.
