New Delhi: A policeman in Jammu and Kashmir was on Saturday tied to a chair and harassed in the middle of the road after he was allegedly caught of clicking pictures of a woman.
The incident took place in J&K's Ganderbal district located about 40 km from Srinagar. The police personnel reportedly snapped the woman while she was standing at Manigam Bypass in Ganderbal.
Raising slogans, a crowd held the constable hostage and alleged that he had hurt the dignity of the woman.
The policeman, however, has been arrested. A case has also been registered and investigation has been initiated.
As per reports, police have found photographs of the woman in his cellphone.
