Reliance Jio Prime membership subscription expiring on March 31

New Delhi: The Reliance Jio Prime membership, that kicked in from April 1 last year is valid till 31 March.

While media reports are widely speculating that Jio would make a new announcement sometime soon, lets take a look at what Prime membership is all about.

Jio Prime is a membership for customers, who can enrol with a one-time annual membership fees of Rs 99 along with Recharge of Rs 309 and above.

Jio Prime along with a validity recharge brings a host of benefits with it.

1) It gives the customers the opportunity to avail unlimited benefits of free voice (Local, STD, Roaming to any operator, anywhere in India), 4G data and SMS that you have been currently using till 31st March 2018 for a charge of Rs 399 for 70 days.

2) Customer get complimentary benefit of Jio’s premium content bouquet worth Rs 10,000 for an entire year.

Jio entered India`s highly-competitive telecom market in late 2016 and disrupted the space with free-voice and cut-price data plans, forcing rivals to match its tariffs and dragging their margins lower.

Large operators have been flagging pressure on revenue and profitability, blaming the rock-bottom data tariffs and free offerings of newcomer Reliance Jio for deteriorating financial health of the sector.
