New Delhi: After gaining fame as an avid Twitter user, Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani has debuted on Instagram.
The actor-turned-politician made her debut by sharing a throwback photo with a caption that read "Guess who's on Insta now #tbt #goodolddays".
She also shared another picture on her account with Balaji head Ekta Kapoor and actress Sakshi Tanwar. Notably, Irani had shot to stardom as Tulsi Virani of serial `Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi` produced by Ekta Kapoor. However, she later shifted to politics.

In the third post, she wrote: “Day begins with blessings from Ma. #morningbliss #fridayfavorites”.
The account, not verified yet, has garnered more than 10.1K followers.
Welcoming the minister on the platform, Ekta wrote: "Let's welcome my friend ! A force to reckon with ! Her meteoric rise stunned many but what stuns me more is how rooted she is! Finally on Instagram let's welcome Tulsi ! @smritiiraniofficial!".
