Maha Mumbai Metro Rail Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) has deployed the devices that will measure wind speed accurately and determine if it is safe to continue Metro services during challenging weather conditions. Along with that, it launched a ‘monsoon control room’ at Charkop depot.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast informing that the very severe cyclonic storm ‘Biparjoy’ is expected to be intensified further and moved northwards or north-westwards. The western coastal areas of India will be affected in terms of wind or sea waters until June 13 as the cyclone is predicted to remain the very severe cyclonic storm.

In a heroic incident, a senior ticket collector saved the life of a 73-year-old man who fell down while boarding the local train at Wadala station. The incident happened on Sunday in the afternoon.
