Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 89th episode of his monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat on Sunday (May 29, 2022).  PM Modi urged the 'Mann Ki Baat' audience to find out about the Women Self Help Groups working in their area, gather information about the products made by them and use these products as much as possible. He also shared an inspiring story of women empowerment from Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. 

Talking about the diversity in India, PM said "there is a rich treasure of many languages, scripts and dialects in our country. Different clothing, food and culture in different regions is our identity." "This diversity as a nation empowers us, and holds us together," he added.

PM also underlined India's achievement in startups asserting that now the country is home to 100 Unicorns worth over 25 lakh crore Rs.

PM urged the Mann Ki Baat audience to take of birds and other animals amid the scorching summer heat and fill water pots and provide food to them.
